| 768021 | 2009-04-24 10:51:00 | OP: Why can't you just use a plain Vista disc and download the drivers from Acer? :confused: That's exactly what I did! If I have a recovery DVD or partition, after installing the OS, I don't need to go through the phone activating process; and you are sure that all the drivers are correct. And, I think it is much quicker to reinstall from the recovery DVD or partition. Any, I have just downloaded and installed the eRevovery program, and am now doing the backing up to DVD. Question: This eRecovery is backing up from the recovery partition or from the OS that I just installed? Any idea? |
