768519 2009-04-26 00:37:00 Hi,
I have a hard drive with ME loaded on it but trying to work out if there is going to be enough space to load XP.
The space information I have got forn the system information window on the hard drive for ME drive is
Total Physical Memory 111.43 MB
Available Physical Memory 172.00 KB
Total Vitual Memory 2.00 GB
Available Vitual Memory 1.70 GB
Page File Space 1.89 GB

The space almost matchs one of my other computer with Xp on it but I am not sure.

768520 2009-04-26 00:40:00 So how big is the hard drive?? What you've posted is for the ram / memory not the hdd. Sounds like its got 128 / 256mb ram, which may not be enough for XP (it'll be slow)

Open my computer (or whatever ME uses), highlight C / right mouse / properties. Whats it say here?

768521 2009-04-26 00:41:00 How much memory does it have!? 110MB? That's not nearly enough to run Windows XP.

How big is the hard drive? (look in My Computer)

Have a look with a system info tool (or look in the BIOS) to see the processor speed.

768522 2009-04-26 00:53:00 Actual HDD space to install XP is around 3.5GB from memory, thats XP itself, and drivers.

As its already been mentioned though, with the amount of RAM you have while it will run, it will run slow, and the CPU could also be a bit on the small size.
