768247 2009-04-25 10:53:00 Is there such a device that sits between USB devices and >1 computers, and allows the one USB device to be used on each PC without unplugging it, but by flicking a switch?

Kinda like a KVM switch, but not for kb's/mice?

What are you trying to share? You could probably network the device over

In the diagram it appears that you want ONE USB device to be available to three PCs. Just one device or several to be available to the three PCs.

I think you want to network maybe. More info needed. KVM is keyboard, video, mouse.

Do you really want several USB devices to be plugged in so that any or all devices are are available to any or all pcs on a switch?

768251 2009-04-25 13:25:00 I think its really going to depend what you want to hook up. Beeswax suggestion looks ok but it says only 1 pc at a time can see it. plod (107)

I 2nd that - I know someone with one of these, but she bought it as a printer hub mainly (not too PC literate - could have got something cheaper). Not sure where she bought it, but I remember finding it available locally when I looked it up to find out what the hell it was when I first saw it...

Try here (www.google.co.nz) for starters.
