A while ago you posted about going to a ball and wanted advice on everything
from Deodorant to Dancing.

I think we would like a detail report on how it all went.:D:thumbs:

595611 2007-09-27 09:28:00 Christ guys. I purposely did not post back on that thread (and therefore not bumping it up in the process) because all my plans went horribly horribly horribly wrong as I have over-estimated the situation.

Quite disappointed.

To give you some idea, the dancing lasted only 10 minutes. I shall not speak of it anymore.

Welcome to life kid. That night might have gone wrong but I promise you, you have learnt from that experience. It was inevitable that you were over-estimating the evening from the mere fact that you posted it here. Dont worry mate - although the hole you are hiding in now seems lonely, trust me, we've all been there. Head up and move on.

Was there something wrong with the music or was she not into your dance moves?

In terms of stuff not working out according to the plan....your not the first guy it has happened to and you wont be the last. I think it has probably happened to just about every guy on the planet at some time in their lives.

If you don't make mistakes in your life you never have a chance to learn from them.

And look at the positives, you know where you stand with her, it's probably spurred you on to learn to dance well for next year's bash (look under the couch for your rhythm first, and if you find mine, hand it over- I need it! lol), and you'll have felt the worst now... when you go again, it will flow much better. :D

Dont agree with the sharing part. I reckon that's what got you so uptight the first time around. Just put it behind you, I'm sure you've dwelled on it long enough to know what worked and what didnt. Onwards and upwards dude - it's summer :) , that's reason enough to smile.
