768941 2009-04-27 10:20:00 I'm having problems with KeenSpot (and other) sites.
I've used http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ to find out that it's just me.

The main site http://www.keenspot.com/
The Forum site http://forums.keenspot.com/
A sample comic http://goblinscomic.com/

All give a similar error, "You tried to access the address www.keenspot.com which is currently unavailable"

However, I checked Goblins here: inezha.com They say it's updating.

Google gave me this:
member.dnsstuff.com

That site tells me there's a problem with KeenSpot so maybe it's not just me.

I've checked my security settings and my hosts file, cleared out my DNS cache (with ipconfig /flushdns) and I'm stumped.

I haven't noticed the same problem yet with any other sites, just KeenSpot related addresses, and as you've guessed I can still get to PressF1

Any suggestions?
My ISP is Ihug (Vodaphone.)

Yes, I've rebooted. :-)

768945 2009-04-27 10:48:00 Just tried at 9.46Pm and all the links load fine. ( on Telstra Cable)

Have you done any updates, or add / removed any programs, changed any settings and this started ( no matter how small a change)

Edited: if not then roll the system back 4 days with System Restore - you wont lose any data.

We need some Ihug/Vodafone users to test your links. They load fine for me with a different ISP.

The error page which gives me "You tried to access the address 66.220.2.19 which is currently unavailable" Shows the address resolved to http://www.keenspot.com/ in the address bar, so it's probably not a DNS problem.

Yes, I've done one new install of Media Jukebox, replacing WinAmp, about two days ago. I'm sure that the KeenSpot problem was earlier than this, and I'd just as soon not rollback without knowing the cause of the problem.

768949 2009-04-27 11:04:00 What browser are you using? Tried another browser?

What happens when you ping those websites?

768950 2009-04-27 11:23:00 Going by the title of the Post, can we assume that you have a LAN and other PC's on your LAN can connect OK ?

OR do you have a single, standalone PC going to a Modem .

Edited: and whats the OS ?

Something to try, open a command prompt and type in this ( exactly)

ping -f -l 1472 www . dslreports . com

See if you get a reply .

Note: the -l is the letter L , Lower case, & it wont show as a http Link .
