| 768652 | 2009-04-26 08:58:00 | Hey all, I have a Compaq Presario C300, 1.6ghz celeron, 1 gig of 667 ram. Currently running xp home sp3 all happily BUT after reading the ubuntu thread I'm considering installing it and having a play. Only thing really stopping me is I do alot of web developement as some might know and I'm not really sure how the software I use will work with ubuntu. Mainly Photoshop CS and a program WeBuilder (cuts out the mountains of freehand coding of tags) I'm sure theres alternatives for linux but just want an opinion of whether its worth it TA! |
