596133 2007-09-29 05:28:00 Hi guys,

Well i been away for business, came home today to find my house has been broken into. Yup, dvds, cds, fathers day present, ps2, pc games, guitars, amps etc all gone.

But I have a photo of some of my guitars, one in particular is special to me that was my brothers, Im pretty sure its the only one in NZ. Please take a look at the image and keep an eye out. My brother passed away a couple of years ago and it means the world to me.

It is a Takamine GX200 black electric guitar, it is unusual as Takamine do not make electrics. In the photo it is the one on the far right with the stickers.

I dont expect results but I do appreciate any effort at all. Some of you who know me know music is my world.

Thank you all for your time,
Rob

596134 2007-09-29 05:39:00 Very sorry to hear about the breakin. It is not a pleasant feeling to have your personal space invaded and favourite belongings stolen. I take it you don't have any motion sensing security cameras or burglar alarm set up at your house. winmacguy (3367)

No, my flatmate was home until 7pm last night, so they did it between 7pm and 9am when I got home. Ive rung all the second hand shops that I know of around here like cash converters, cash in, waikato 2ndhand dealers, I heard there is one called extra cash but i cant find their number.
I do have insurance but that one guitar, its something I cant replace let alone the sentimental value.

Have you thought of getting anything set up like a motion sensing web cam hooked up to your PC? I know its a bit late now but it might be an idea for the future.

And yup winmac, I have thought about it, unfortunately I just bought this pc which has sucked up all my funds at the moment. I cant see why they didnt take this pc though as its pretty kick ass. Difficult to carrie I guess...
