The world's largest software maker introduced Windows Vista in January with the plan to phase out sales of its predecessor, Windows XP, by January 30, 2008. | 596043 | 2007-09-28 11:55:00 | Hmmm - (unlike Mac OS) Windows XP is used on a VAST number of business machines. They stopped selling Windows 98 - but kept supporting it until just a few years ago. I guess people that run Mac OS 8 or 9 are pretty happy that they can still get support from Apple though... |
