Your liberties, humorous or not, is not and should not be without reprisals . You have lost a great amount of face with me . I added the poll choice as some users though it a valid point . I also thought it was a valid point, although I understand Radiums reasons for asking me to remove it . I removed the poll choice, and as far as it being an inappropriate action, I feel there are way worse things being said and done on these forums daily that members don't complain over . People are extremely quick to complain over mods, and never thankful over the amount of work that is actually put in here . But, all said and done, I removed the poll choice, those four who voted for it will chose another option if they want . A lot of people that read these forums, and especially the polls, will read the poll question, vote and then leave without reading the full thread to get the context . I'm happy to remove the choice on Radium's request, no worries there . Believe it or not, I'm actually here to try and make this a better user experience for all of you . |

You have violated a very serious point of law about freedom of speech, and like it or not, you are not exempt of fairplay and legal ramifications too. If you were here in the US, you could be guilty of violating copyright laws, personal freedom of speech and violation of those statutes as put forth in the laws of your own domain. You have a severely blackened eye in my opinion and are henceforth suspect at best. You originally came into this site swinging guns and blasting people with elan. I do not hold you in much respect and suggest that the other mods take you aside and give you a severe reprimand. Not too many people appreciate you for that in the first place. |

| 597153 | 2007-10-04 20:54:00 | Look Joe, I'm sorry you feel this way . I tried to please some members who requested a poll choice in this poll . The author asked me to change it back, which I did . As for me being a mod on PF1, I'm not . I am an administrator, employed by PC World NZ as a writer, and I try and let those with more experience and history on these forums (ie Jen and Chilling) do most of moderation work . They are fantastic at what they do :) Again, sorry, I'll try and avoid these situations in the future by not getting involved . And, contrary to some beliefs, I do welcome users here questioning the powers that be, it only shows we have a bright and involved audience . And I'm pretty thankful for that . anyways, matter is closed as far as I can see and the poll lives on :) |

Came back and read it after leaving it alone for a few days, poll options have been added and removed, and SJ wants Jan hung, drawn and quatered! :lol: Just for the record, I think the mods on this site do a great job (very nearly all of the time, this thread being one of the few exceptions). ;) Lighten up SJ! :lol: |
