597139 2007-10-04 07:46:00 I added a 'Both' option .

for those interested, I added the option from a laptop, and this reply is from my desktop 30 seconds later .

Not what I intended

I think the poll creator made himself quite clear and that the "both" option was not desired by him .

How can there be a both option? We have already established from other threads that one can only sign in with one name from one computer at any one time . The thread starter elaborated in this poll "which type of computer are you replying to this poll from now"

Exactly what I intended . Thanks guys

My Response to Jan

If I wanted to put the option of Both in there I would have .

The poll is intended to be to be answered with what type of computer the poster is ticking the option with right at that very second .

And it could not be both, networking and internet sharing, remote desktop or controlling another computer doesn't count .

I admit I could have made it clearer, but I didn't want to confuse people and keep the question short .
The other reason is too many people would choose the option both and that’s not what I wanted .

Please change it back .

Thankyou Rad

Definitely.

The poll structure should not be touched unless at the request of the person who created the poll.

If it were me I'd pm Jan and ask him.....wait, If it were me I would have probably roared at him, broken a dozen rules and been banned.

597143 2007-10-04 09:02:00 Yup, its not fair that the poll is amended without your consent. You started it, you should have full authority over it, mods/admins shouldn't change it because some people dint understand.

Full Support:)

Yes. Unless asked by the thread starter, then yeah, the admins shouldn't touch it unless it breaks the rules.

597147 2007-10-04 20:02:00 woah, this was just meant as a bit of humor, this poll has pretty much run its course anyways, but if you guys feel that strongly about it I'll of course change it back .

I'm not here to ruin anyone's day, ease up .

I feel you took inappropriate actions there Jan . . . your job is not to edit things: either delete and ban or allow and watch is about all the circumspect authority you really have .

Your liberties, humorous or not, is not and should not be without reprisals .

You have lost a great amount of face with me .
