| 596163 | 2007-09-29 18:04:00 | Yes, I realize you are blinded by gimmicks, But at the risk of yet another retarded discussion with you, I would recommend anyone looking at installing a security system spend a bit of time and do some research in order to get a system that suits their needs and budget. My first advice is a monitored alarm, My second would be for a stand alone recording unit unit, non-pc based. Agreed, I thought thought that it could be considered as a possible option being that you can set up the video footage to be emailed/FTP to a remote location for later retrieval which is one of the reasons I am considering it. Having your house or premises alarmed would be the standard procedure. |

Not much taken . . . . but after about 30mins of it sinking in, I was beyond ropable . Rang the cops . . . . . who were suprisingly interested . . . . offered to cut down their paperwork and just bring the guy to me if they caught him . Came back the next day to fingerprint the bathroom where they got in . All VERY impressive . Honestly thought we would get a pat on the head and told "there there, it's ok" . As it turns out it was a mate of the tenant we had living below . Don't get me started on the Tenancy Tribunal! Hope you get the important stuff back . |

But I figure no point crying over, got to at least try and do as much as possible. I have the strangest feeling that I will see my brothers guitar again, just a matter of when. |
