| 597454 | 2007-10-05 22:03:00 | Ok, my bad. But I haven't seen one before. (mind you, i haven't been here that long either) I didn't mean to be rude - it's just that it's rather easy to look at a Poll, and ignore it if you're sick of them. In most cases the poll-maker has a valid question they want to ask and it's not fair to tell them to stop because some people don't want to read them. |

In most cases the poll-maker has a valid question they want to ask and it's not fair to tell them to stop because some people don't want to read them. No worries. Fair enough. I don't mind polls about something useful, but some of the polls out there are a little lame... |

| 597456 | 2007-10-06 08:10:00 | I don't know that it's so "retarded" to run a poll against polls. Standard operating procedure of subversive groups is to "use the enemy's weapons against him". Obviously a meta-poll is in a different category to ordinary polls, and if it has the effect he desires (presumably reducing frivolous polls), then it has been an effective tool, hasn't it? Besides, if you wanted to tell people that (for instance) watching TV is bad, the logical way to do it would be to broadcast your message on TV, 'cos that's where you'll find your target audience; doesn't make you a hypocrite. |
