769218 2009-04-29 02:50:00 Error reporting is one of the first things I disable.
It never tells you anything useful and even if it does report to Microsoft you are not going to get a Microsoft calling you or fronting up on your doorstep ready to fix it. Not in this millennium anyway.

Actually I think it's even easier than that, the fix just appears in your automatic updates if enough people have it.

Going by this explanation of how error reporting is used (blogs.msdn.com), I feel like submitting an error report is like a vote to fix my bug before someone else's bug!

Which makes me pretty darn keen to submit bugs, and the guys at Microsoft seem to appreciate it too.

769222 2009-05-01 12:10:00 I think I well just keep on starting Space Shuttle Mission a few times every day and just keep sending MS the error report. Support at Space Shuttle Mission say they can't help me any further as I can't send them an error report. I have been using this programe for 6 months and then all of a sudden it starts doing this.
Yes I have been to MS.com and read all about there error reporting procedures. They say if they get enough error reports about a certain programe they well notify the vendor.
