When I receive the details I need I will pay the money over and post the result in this thread when I have done so. I will also explain the reasons why I selected the winning design. Naturally I could post the result now but knowing how devious some people are I could be flooded with bank numbers via PMs.:) Thank you all for posts made. It was an interesting exercise. I had hoped that I would get more entries as time went by but, unfortunately, this did not happen. |

| 596750 | 2007-11-01 05:14:00 | Ok here are my dubious attempts (www.nigel.geek.nz), bear in mind that i only have paint installed on this machine, so they do look a bit well um yeah That sheep one... pure gold :lol: :lol: :lol: It's so awesome, the sheep escaping out of the pen (as shown with the broken fence), then forming up into the shape of the Southern Cross. Why they couldn't form up behind the fence I don't know. I guess it shows that NZers are rebels at heart. |

The design is unique and has no reference to our colonial past or Maorii past for that matter so therefore should not be devisive. The fern is well known all over the world as our sports people use this emblem rather a lot. The shades of grey depict rather well the idea that we live in a multicultural society. Last but not least it bears no resemblance to the Australian flag. Congrats Jermsie and commiserations to the rest. |
