768967 2009-04-27 21:15:00 I have just had a form e-mailed to me. It requires my signature and then I have to send it back.

How do I sign an e-mail attachment?

768968 2009-04-27 21:30:00 Print the form. Sign it and post it back via snail mail. Sweep (90)
768969 2009-04-27 21:51:00 Or scan or fax the printed signed form, ask them if that is sufficient Ofthesea (14129)
768970 2009-04-27 22:21:00 If it doesn't require an actual sig, then typing it will do. If it does, you have to print it and mail it. pctek (84)
768971 2009-04-27 23:33:00 I have a scanned copy of my signature for just that occasion; it's just saved as a jpeg which I insert into documents like a piece of clipart.

Most organizations accept this kind of thing now.

What format is your form in?

768972 2009-04-28 01:09:00 Or even a combo of low-tech/hi-tech:
- print it out, sign it
- take a photo with digital camera of the print out
- email it back

Most organizations accept this kind of thing now.I doubt that would be legally binding as anyone could save your jpeg and re-use it themselves.
