768766 2009-04-26 23:32:00 Bizarre.
Got an email this morning with a PDF attachment.
While I was viewing others that came in it vanished.
Sort of, it appears that it became blank - no From or To, no Subject, no text, no attachment, and then it disappeared into the Junk folder like that.

I emailed the guy and asked for it again, he did so straight away and I opened the attachment and was in the middle of printing it when it did it again.

Lucky I had it open and was able to save the file, but whats that all about?

I checked NOD and it hadn't any alerts or quarantined files or deleted files.
Ditto Counterspy. Not that they came up with any warnings anyway......

No other spam or legit emails have been wrongly handled by Thunderbirds Junk filter either.

768768 2009-04-26 23:50:00 Testing.
Sent myself some - didn't do anything weird.
I've just sent myself that exact same file to see what happens.......
..........Nothing. It's sitting there quite happily.

Something to do with their end maybe that TB didn't like???

768769 2009-04-27 00:12:00 What happens to it if you move it back to the inbox. Rob99 (151)
768770 2009-04-27 01:44:00 Then I end up with a blank email, with no TO or FROM or SUBJECT fields, with no attachment. The email doesn't have a date either. In fact it has nothing at all.

It was really weird. Twice.
But haven't been able to make it do it again.

I had another email from the same person - without any attachments and it left them alone.

768771 2009-04-27 09:28:00 You got antivirus or the like quarantining them? .
I have the same prob very intermittantly & have found that although antvir doesn't filter incoming emails, it seems sometimes it might . The other thing mine is now doing is . I have 3 email accounts with filtering set up & junk mail filtering set up on each to move the junk into the accounts junk folder & mark it as read . For some reason it's stopped on one of the accounts . Strange .
I haven't bothered to try & fix it

768772 2009-04-27 22:22:00 No. It's Thunderbirds Junk filter thing. What exactly I don't know. So
Uninstalled TB, installed latest version, reset Junk training and so far so good. I'll see how it goes.
