| 770040 | 2009-05-01 17:31:00 | I left xnet in January. Paid my final bill in February. Haven't heard from them since. Yesterdai I received a phone call from them wanting to know why I hadn't paid my bill for the past two months. When I told them I wasn't with them anymore, they said I was as I hadn't informed them I was leaving them. Just out of curiosity I sent myself an e-mail at my old xnet address. It bounced. They said they will send me copies of my last two month's bills and they expect them to be paid. Orcon advise me that xnet was told when my line was switched to them. I can see a good arguement brewing. |

All was OK until last month when we received a bill from them with toll calls on it. I had to argue with them to get the bill cancelled. |

You managed to get your bill canceled  Wish I complained to get my 2 'extra' bills canceled from Telecom:angry |

| 770046 | 2009-05-02 23:00:00 | How many hours did you have to wait on hold? Surprisingly got through straight away. Most likely because I had a bill enquiry and not a tech support question :D |

Its not intended to be a "Well fine, level 1 support wont give me what I want so Im going to TDR and they'll teach you!", but rather a "Look Ive spoken with first level support on multiple occasions, team leaders, and the local manager, and after a few weeks and several (well documented) phone calls, we still cant get anywhere. Im going to refer this on to TDR" |

Write the details of the dispute down and mail it to the firm and file a copy for future reference. Try and keep the correspondence limited to relevant facts. When you have a phone conversation write a memo of the conversation and if nessassary send that off to them as well. Collection agency's will not touch a bill if it is in dispute. |

| 770049 | 2009-05-04 03:11:00 | The Saga Continues. I received two bills in the mail today. Their accounts for February and March. I phoned them and told them they would not be paid. They said they would be handed to the debt colledters, I laughed. If they want to waste money on debt collecters and lawyers and get bad publicity they are as stupid as their help desk staff and as ridiculous as their internet speed. And that they will have trouble getting an attachment on my wages,as I've been retired for twenty years. They said that Orcon could not cancel my account. If I wanted to close it I had to write and tell them. Seems Orcon or any other ISP can switch me over, but can not close the account. As I still haven't WRITTEN and told them it is closed I may get a bill for April shortly. So we'll see what happens next. |
