| 769933 | 2009-05-01 06:57:00 | Hi Experts - I have a 19" AOC monitor with in-built speakers which is 6 years old.... I am toying with replacing it with a bigger one.... My PC is 3 years old - running 2GB RAM (one memory socket empty). I am using XP - Question - if I replace the monitor (I do prefer in-built speakers - less stuff on my desk and less wiring) will I get good graphics without doing something to the computer itself? Display is NVIDIA GeForce 6600 - if that helps.... The processor is an 1850 Pentium 4. TIA Bryden |

| 769934 | 2009-05-01 07:09:00 | Might be able to *just* manage a 20" at a low resolution but definelt not if you are going to game. I suggest you get a cheap card under 100 such as the 8400GS or maybe the 9600GSO if you can afford it. Processor may also be a bit of a bottleneck though.... Blam |
