| 769915 | 2009-05-01 05:42:00 | Currently I record F1 races off Sky onto my PC's HDD via a TV tuner card, and after editing, burn onto DVD. We are about to upgrade to MySky HD and I want to know, will I still be able to record/edit/burn? I'm not seeking HD quality. Any advise/comments? |

I do that with MySky (non HDi), it works fine. I record to MySky then playback at leisure and capture it to the PC. Or I can do the same live whichever. I do tend to playback/record a recorded version and knock out the adverts with fast forward. |

| 769921 | 2009-05-01 21:38:00 | Zippity I use a switch box in the lounge. Cables from splitting MySky go to Port 1 and Cables from Sony DVD recorder/player go to Port 2. I just select the button for which port I want to send through to my Office PC so I can record from either. DSE 4-Way Universal Audio/Video Switch Selector I have another one in my Office for sending Video back to the TV. Although I got high quality cabling done years ago it is not good enough for HD but the quality is adequate. Maybe I will get the cable guy back one day to run HDMI through the walls between Office and Lounge:-) |
