769591 2009-04-30 00:50:00 So I've been having issues at home lately (Maybe 2-3 days?) that appears to be related to DNS.

I'll try and go to a website, only to find that I get privoxy popping up saying "Oops, it failed. Usually this is just temporary so you can try again", and I hit refresh and it works.

I try and ping trademe.co.nz
First time it fails to resolve
I immediately try it again and it works just fine.

I've specified OpenDNS in the Router, and its intercepting all DNS.

Cheers

Solution: use the skynet servers :-P

Using OpenDNS, and it is going very well, as I was just reminded through a post on PF1 a few days ago about it.

769596 2009-04-30 05:54:00 We use OpenDNS here at work and at home and we are using it at a lot of our client's sites that want restricted internet access and not having any problems with any of them. (Yet ) CYaBro (73)
769597 2009-04-30 12:48:00 Yeah I was wondering, it *cant* be OpenDNS.. They're so huge - Plus we're using them at work just fine with an almost identical Router / Gateway setup.

I wonder if its WxC interfering :(
