597881 2007-10-04 16:40:00 Microsoft has announced that it is taking steps to help make consumers safer online by making the Internet Explorer 7 web browser more accessible to all Windows XP SP2, x64 Server and Windows Server 2003 users. (but NOT Windows Vista).

Beginning October 4th, 2007, Microsoft are making available a new Internet Explorer 7 build, the IE7 Installation and Availability update (IAU) for Windows XPSP2, x64 Server and Windows Server 2003.

And MS have also removed the WGA validation component of IE 7.
