Rankings mean very little, it is the performances that count and history will show that NZ hasn't been the world champions for quarter of a century, and that this is NZ worst performance ever in a world cup. The only good thing about today is that Australia were also knocked out. Remember that NZ will probably not do any better than Fiji has done in this world cup, and Fiji players get paid hardly anything. Yeeeeeeeeah uuuum "I" still see the All Blacks as the worlds best. I'm not looking at facts or asking the rest of the world for their opinions. I'm saying I think they are great and I consider them to be the best regardless of their loss. :D |

Being ranked number 1 is different from being the world cup champion. However I think that the winner of this world cup, will be the number 1 ranked team in the world. England won the last world cup, and I belive that after that, they were the world number one ranked team, but they didn't stay the number 1 ranked team for very long. Some teams do excel in world cup knockout games, obviously NZ doesn't. |
