598987 2007-10-07 08:55:00 NZ played better rugby as amateurs - professionals are not sportsmen (whatever the code or sport)they are paid performers and entertainers doing a job for a living, perhaps too good a living, and sport becomes a business and no longer a game The moment a squad is signed up on fixed term contracts, the opportunity for new talent to be introduced is dramatically reduced. But I absolutely loathe and detest Graham Henry.
He used to be headmaster at my sons high school.

He's a loathosme ************.

598989 2007-10-07 20:21:00 I think Graeme Henry and his two cohorts should have resigned right after the game. (that would have been the honourable thing to do)

When they got their jobs they said their main aim was to win the world cup. They were given everything they wanted and had many top players to choose from.

They obviously selected the wrong players, did not motivate them well and had no game plan b and c. etc etc

We did not even get to the semi finals !

Also their attitude right after the game was very poor, they did not seem sorry at all.

Regards

I think your attitude is very poor myself, they lost ONE game out of how many?

Sure it sucks to lose, NZ are the sorest losers in the world, but its the lynching afterwards that makes it harder to recover. Especially from people who have no idea how it all works.
