598720	2007-10-06 20:56:00	Oh yeah - the ref stopped them scoring for 80 minutes and no doubt their cornflakes were a bit dodgy as well. The ref didn't stop us from scoring but he did allow the French to score two tries that they should never have got.	CYaBro (73)

The only consolation is that Aussies also didnt make it - but you know even then Aussies dont feel 1/2 as worse as we do - cause they know that they are No 1 in other sports. NZ only has Rugby to go for ! And it just seems the only thing we can ever win on global scale is if we enter some Sheep shearing competition...even then who knows, in the finals we might end up slicing the meat under pressure and get bombed out there as well! 4 More years and lets see if the home support can give us that extra grit and mental invincibility that Northern Hemisphere teams have. The only team i can see who both has that Rugby Flair and mental prowess is Springboks !!	learning (5137)

So if he hadn't noticed an All Black forward pass you'd not have noticed his performance. I see forward passes allowed for tries all the time in the NRL, it is just part of the game, unfortunately on this occasion it was in a big game. As for the sending off, matter of interpretation I imagine. We don't play exactly the same rules down under and that is part of what makes the World Cup what it is. Blaming the referee might make you feel better, but what I saw was an All BLack team that lacked ideas on how to get over the try line. Even so, unlucky to lose.	Twelvevolts (5457)

598727	2007-10-06 21:32:00	I personally don't think we were lacking anything except finishing skills (big thing I guess) But As per usual we will pick at every little thing when in reality I think we had a winning team just didn't have the umpire on our side and played a very fired up team. The question is .... can this team stick it out for another 4 years after the crap they are going to take for this unfortunate loss. They will fail in Mt Eden in 2011 !!...I just feel sorry for the NZ public cause it will happen right in frotn of our eyes at that time! But i can guarantee you that AB's will win every Tri-Nations/Bledisloe cup in 2008 2009 2010 2011....yeah for the next 4 years and also defeat the British Irish Lions and oh...also defeat France in the one of matches by 40-50 points !!	vista (8617)

There's money to be made at the TAB on those predictions. Perhaps it will eventually get through that winning Tri-nations in a World Cup year means sweet FA.
