| 769457 | 2009-04-29 04:49:00 | Using XP and new computer. Having a problem with the audio out from a new headset Mic. My old headset is just about clapped out, so splashed out on a new one and am not able to get good loud audio out. Have all the sound adjustments on full and have to just about to swallow the microphone to get a good sound out. Use Skype and such programmes a lot, so am looking for help. Any ideas?? |

Next look along the list, make sure Microphone slider is right up, and unmuted. If its still not loud enough - back under Options/tick Advanced controls, now there will be an advanced button in the Microphone slider, click that -Down The bottom , tick Mic Boost. If still not working, go into the control Panel, Sounds and audio devices, Audio Tab,Sound Recording - Make sure the default audio device is selected. |
