| 771328 | 2009-05-05 23:07:00 | Getting very sick with Xnet and now looking for a 'better' ISP (is there any???). However, I've narrowed down to: 1. Go back to Telecom (was with them since Broadband was first introduced in NZ), but their email is crap - full of spam emails; 2. Orcon looks great but don't know about their emails. Can some existing Orcon users share your experience with me? Cheers |

Highly recommend Orcon for their internet & speeds, especially if you're on the + network. Orcons emails are much more stable than Xnets email service anyways. Cant comment on Xtra, I still avoid them like the plague ;) |

| 771330 | 2009-05-05 23:56:00 | if you go with xtra, get thunderbird to use for the email, block out the spam. im with telecom with their 3GB plan which was doubled to 6GB for a year :D. haven't had any problems other than using up the cap inside 3 weeks :D | GameJunkie (72) | ||

| 771335 | 2009-05-06 00:32:00 | You may get slightly better pricing with Orcon, depending on your usage requirements. We have sites using both Xtra and Orcon for ADSL, and have had very good experiences with both for the most part. | inphinity (7274) | ||

This way you won't get spam and you won't have to change your email account if you choose another ISP. I'm with Telecom and find it very good. Came from Xnet so know your plight. Sack Xnet asap and go with Orcon or Telecom and get a gmail account. Problem solved! |

| 771337 | 2009-05-06 01:00:00 | Orcon. Especially if you want to change your phone line to them aswell because they have good phone & broadband packages. Jump on orcon's site & check what plans are available in your area http://www.orcon.net.nz |
