| 600858 | 2007-10-12 06:52:00 | Is there somewhere on the internet that has an overview of each party's major policies? I'm not voting for National or Labour, so I'd like to look at the smaller (5-10%ish) parties. Not the Greens either - I personally would like to see them fail to meet the 5% barrier in this election. I haven't done much research on this yet. |

| 600859 | 2007-10-12 07:06:00 | How on earth could anyone participate in this poll except on the basis of supreme ignorance or blind loyalty to one party or another? None of the parties have displayed their wares yet in the form of coherent policy. National tried and failed to do so with three policies last week, all of which were shots unerringly aimed at their own feet and subsequently withdrawn. Some wag suggested the Nats were engaged in policy release by Tourette's Syndrome, which was probably unkind but true. I suggest you might think of a poll (if you have to) some time in the latter third of 2008... Personally I am in the camp that says a plague on all polls on this site, but then that is just a personal view you understand. |

| 600862 | 2007-10-12 07:34:00 | I vote against socialism (the principles are fine but modern socialists are nutjobs). I also vote for tax cuts. I'll also vote for any party that can do something about our appalling road safety record. |

| 600863 | 2007-10-12 07:35:00 | Oh ok - wasn't there when I posted. Strange... The thread is made when the poster clicks Post, and then they create the poll, so there is a period of time (however long it takes them to write the poll) where there is the post but not poll. |
