599842 2007-10-10 05:13:00 Instead of resurrecting a two year-old thread, I'll start again.

Would this:

www.dse.co.nz

.....allow me to listen to these frequencies:

Wellington WLG/NZWN

ATIS 112.300 126.900

Ground 121.900 118.800

Tower 118.800 120.000

Control/App 119.300 121.100 126.500 122.300

Departure 122.300 121.100

at the airport?

I'm assuming so, but I don't want to rely solely on the sales-child at DSE for advice.

Cheers
AB

PS: What's the difference between a "scanner" and a "receiver"?

Yup, you should get those frequencies . It is worthwhile investing in an adapter for these as they chew through batteries .

There is no difference between a scanner and a receiver in this sense .

Cheers for that....it has a ciggie lighter cord so I'll just plug it in and should be away.
