599867 2007-10-10 04:23:00 Hi guys.

A long, long time ago I watched a movie that I'm trying to remember the name of.

Details are sketchy to say the least, but it involved people stuck at an airport (Boston I think), and there were aliens (for want of a better word) inbound, and they had to get away.

It ended with them all on this jet taxi-ing out to the runway, with these furry balls eating the airport around them.

From memory it wasn't a mainstream movie, I rented it because it had planes in it. (I'm an aviation geek in the same way most of you are IT geeks! :p ), and it was bizzare to say the least.

Mean anything to anyone, or should I just up my meds?

TIA

Ummm.....no idea. Possible. Is Twilight Zone a TV programme?

Come to think of it...given the type of movie it was it could be associated with a name like that.....

599870 2007-10-10 04:31:00 Steven Spielberg. The Twilight Zone
3 short movies rolled into one.
I even have the jingle in my head.
Plane was flying through a lightening storm and the little kid in the plane is looking out the window at a freaky beast ripping up the wing of the plane. After they had landed there are huge rip/claw marks across the wing by the Starboard engine.
can't quite remember the other two skits but one had a kid who could change the environment around him to suit his mood. An I think the other one had a sales guy who had to learn weird new words for his sales job and he was the only one who couldn't get his head around them - they kept getting more weird each day.
Movie was out in about 1984-85

Either you saw (the original) Nightmare at 20,000 Feet or the remake in the Twilight Zone.

I'm not big with old movies, but wasn't the Twilight Zone the one with the freakish elevator and the dead ghosts or whatever?

599873 2007-10-10 04:51:00 Or it could be The Langoliers. I missed the good bits to that movie. Never saw it.

A planeful of peeps end up passing through a time rift. Landing at an airport (Boston Airport I think) only to escape barely with round things chewing up the airport as they leave.

599875 2007-10-10 05:10:00 I saw that movie too. As an SF movie I found it a bit boring. I'm an SF fan.
It was based on a Stephen King book
:)

I didn't get that involved......I'm not a SF fan nor a SK fan.

But I would like to get a copy of possible. Seems TradeMe has one, so I'm grovelling to a friend to bid on it for me.

I don't "do" TradeMe....
