| 770657 | 2009-05-04 20:55:00 | Whats the deal with the sewage out there, is it in yet or is it coming Whats the deal with the Water out there, is it in yet or is it coming Can you get broadband, we're looking along Balaclava street You didn't notice all the digging? They are apparently going to be finished with the pipework by December and then it will be just hooking up each house to it. The water gets done at the same time. So far its a choicwe whether or not you get that hooked up or not. Yes broadband is available, not too bad speeds, the exchange is right next to Rodgers Garage on the Corner of Ferry and Balaclava Sts. Which houses? I know who owned all of them for sale at the moment and what was done to them. PM me. |

| 770659 | 2009-05-05 09:29:00 | After turning off the "scan all files option" it has managed to scan one drive without hanging the system although it is not the quickest, seems slower than PC-Cillin but the system is usable without too much of a performance hit while the scan is going on, which is what I am after. How safe is it to have the "scan all files" option turn off as in the advice given here (kb.eset.com) Also Eset has picked up Zero Threats at all on the main drive, which i'm happy about as PC-Cillin has been languishing at the bottom of a lot of AV test/reviews and i was half expecting it to find something |

| 770660 | 2009-05-05 10:09:00 | How safe is it to have the "scan all files" option turn off as in the advice given here "should " be OK - if you look at the list thats presented after you untick " scan All Files" the scan still scans quite a few different files types, which would be the ones that are usually the cause of infections . One thing I don't know if you have done this or not, Open ESS - Setup / Antivirus you will see This window ( . imagef1 . net . nz/files/This1241514409 . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz) on the right pane - there are several configure links, click each one, one at a time - look for the big setup button near the top - Example ( . imagef1 . net . nz/files/Setup1241514789 . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz)then on the left under "objects" & "Options" put ticks in every box that is not ticked . |

| 770661 | 2009-05-05 20:35:00 | Well the scan completed fine zero problems, so I clicked the ok button, and the prompt disappeared but the systen was hung, I think that happened because I left the machine unattended (again a problem others are having) and wasn't actively doing something in the background. So I have elected to give up on ESET, thanks for the help people but it just doesn't seem to like my system |
