600553 2007-10-14 02:49:00 It's not just the main actors..did you ever watch the full credits at the end of a movie?

They are in numbers that boggle the mind...and every one of them gets a piece of the action.

Yes I like watching the credits, and as you say they are getting longer and longer.

But most of those people are probably tradesmen or talented technicians that probably deserve their pay and they probably don't get huge pay compared to working in other industries.

It is the overated pay of the "stars" that has always annoyed me.

Good point . . . but they don't get as low pay as you think .

They are all union and suck the life outta the profits too .

The big names get the big bucks, but when I hear that "X" movie cost $3 . 5 Billion to make/produce/distribute, I can tell you that a lot of that money went to the little guys in the form of lunches, temporary housing, perks, and of course pay-offs to union puss-guts and representatives .

I'd hate to pick up the tab on just one of their power lunches .

Had a guy I worked with at a hospital in LA who was a NASA big brain, and he lost his job in the 80's sometime . His theory was that if NASA sent candy bars into space it was all good . . at least it made the money go around and everyone got some trickle effect from it .

Maybe so . . . but today every one is a middle man for some service or another .
