So long as you have the receipt and packaging, you're guaranteed a full refund, no questions asked.

The Hardware Library, I call it.

771232 2009-05-07 09:39:00 Tech came - tested the line with his tool, reckoned I should be syncing at around 11Mbit, disconnected all the other lines in the socket, best case scenario was 13.5Mbit. He couldn't work out why I was syncing so low, and that the throughput seemed to be limited to only around 2.5Mbit. Asked if he had a modem to try, chucked that in, and immediately it synced at 11.5Mbit, and the speedtest we did after that was in excess of 10Mbit.

Went out and bought a D-Link modem as soon as he left. Am now syncing at 11470/945kbps, and can consistently download in excess of 1MB/sec. :D

The problem? A shitty belkin wireless router. Not only was it syncing low, the throughput seemed to be limited to around 2.5Mbit, and it wouldn't let me browse to some sites (www.bnz.co.nz, www.nationalbank.co.nz).

Always pays to check the modem.....
