Sorry PCtek, bad use of the word 'new' there, I mean an upgrade car!....LOL Doesn't matter - Forget the car. Forget the teeth too. Do the house and buy the hardware instead. |

Maybe a chain too . Ok, the wife (and bookkeeper) has grabbed a load of wedge to do up her house (rental), the kids teeth and a new car from the bank . . . . . PS: What's "wedge"? I know "wedgie" but don't think its of the same derivation . |

| 600472 | 2007-10-11 03:27:00 | I just usually buy what I want and suffer the consequences later, which I usually do. I also make sure when the mrs goes out and buys a new bedroom suite that I bite my tongue until out of the house. I never let her know what a waste of money I think it is. She buys the needs, I buy the wants:lol: |

| 600476 | 2007-10-11 06:59:00 | Ok, the wife (and bookkeeper) has grabbed a load of wedge to do up her house (rental), the kids teeth and a new car from the bank..... Seems to have been a slight lack of marital/financial communication here, but if that is the way you run your marriage/finances why not just go to the bank for another load of wedge and deal to your computer on the same terms. Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Mrs T doesn't have to ASK to spend money and neither do I, but we always CONSULT or DISCUSS for significant expenditure, and we never borrow. If we can't afford it from our current accumulation of "wedge", we wait. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

Is she specially fond of them? Or is there a baker in your extended family? (Not that I'm knocking them as a standard to judge by. I'm rather keen on them myself) |
