771217 2009-05-05 06:05:00 Okay so I do not have enough money for a new PC.

But I do need a new graphics card.

AGP 8x, but has to support pixel shader 3

What card is best......how do I tell from the card specs whether it supports pixel shader 3 or not.

Thanks in advance

Look at the models you are interested in then go to the manufacturers site and look at the specification, will tell you pixel shaders as well as all other details.

771219 2009-05-05 07:27:00 An ATI Radeon HD3650 should be available in AGP, with Shader model 4 support. But hey... most games that *require* PS3.0 are gonna struggle on any machine still using AGP heh. inphinity (7274)
771220 2009-05-05 09:23:00 If you're serious about gaming, I suggest you forget AGP.

Save up a bit more, and get a nice PCI-E GFX card later on.

AGP just can't provide enough bandwidth and power, and its overpriced too!
