| 771221 | 2009-05-05 05:00:00 | Is there anyone in the Christchurch area (Avonhead) that has a ADSL2+ modem I could borrow for testing? I want to see if the sync rates, and throughput rates I'm currently getting will improve or not with a different modem, or if the problem lies with bad wiring or at telecom's end. Currently getting sync speeds of 6500/945, with throughput of only 2.5MBit down. Telecom advise me that I'm 1589m (1.5km) from the exchange, and should be getting at least 15-20MBit down! |

You also could be on a houseboat moored off shore for that matter. Pick up the anchor and untie the cables, ropes or whatever and get yourself to the penguin place of your choice. Arctic or Antarctic. |

Traffic, your plan all sorts.... |
