| 770372 | 2009-05-02 08:08:00 | Hi guys, I have a Hardcano controller in my Thermaltake case, heres my problem, The Hardcano cpu fan controller has a 3pin plug, but my asus motherboard socket 775 has a 4pin cpu socket, What I want to know is can I still connect my 3pin hardcano cpu controller to my mobo, which is 4pin, the connection will fit but what worries me is that the wiring colours don't seem to match up, but it does clip in nicely. I want to be positive before I risk frying any thing. The CPU fan has black, yellow green & blue wiring compared to the 3pin hardcano which is yellow red black Heres a link to what I am hooking up www.thermaltakeusa.com Does anyone have any experience and can offer any advice? Thanks guys |
