| 771596 | 2009-05-06 23:10:00 | After installing PCLOS 2009 from live CD my re boot fails at the login stage as I can only put one letter in the login area and it will not allow any further input.My initial attempt to install stopped at the same place so I changed the install method to Video Safe VERSA and the install went 100% and the "play" I had was great I have XP and Ubuntu 9.01 on the same box on separate HDD's so do not want to affect their booting with any proposed fix which I gather requires a change in bios. |

| 771597 | 2009-05-07 02:22:00 | As you managed to boot the LiveCD it is not the problem I had with 2007 which was to add "noapic" to the boot process. I found 2009 didn't need it when testing the LiveCD. I upgraded a couple of months ago. What was the supposed bios fix | mikebartnz (21) | ||
