| 771510 | 2009-05-06 10:59:00 | I cant use IE 8 I dont know any help? So was it working at one point and then stopped working? Did you recently get a new add-on or install some new software? First thing I'd try is running IE8 without add-ons: Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) If that works, you'll get IE8 up and running with a yellow bar at the top. Click on the yellow bar, choose Manage Add-ons, and disable anything you don't use. A lot of problems are caused by dodgy add-ons. I think the HiJack this logs the experts here look at might also do the trick. |

| 771511 | 2009-05-06 11:07:00 | no nothing yet. I thought it was maybe the fact that i had Spybot and Mcfee so i uninstalled spybot. and restarted the PC and its still not working I also uninstalled Hijack but its not working | mohadino (14141) | ||
| 771512 | 2009-05-06 11:36:00 | Oh. So even the no add-ons mode is not working? That's very strange, the only other thing I can think of is somehow your IE8 install has become screwed up, and you need to uninstall and reinstall it. But that's kind of drastic so before you do that see if anyone else has better advice! |
