| 771396 | 2009-05-06 02:33:00 | I have downloaded Windows 7 64 bit I have transferred the ISO to DVD When I try to install I get the 7 splash screen and then it just stops. If I go into my files I see I have the full d/l on my dvd. If I click on EXE It says it is not a 32 bit. I KNOW THAT! How do i get the ISO to format and install? Do I have to use the XP disk to format my drive first? Or how do I get it to run? PLease tell me before I go properly mad. |

| 771400 | 2009-05-06 03:07:00 | JJJJJJ - before you reburn ..... Try booting again, then go make yourself a cup of coffee and wait it out. It happened to me on the beta. Happened on the RC as well. To all intents and purposes it looks like it hangs (guess it is actually chugging through evaluating my system or something) - then all of a sudden the dialogue screen starts and you can continue with the install. |

| 771401 | 2009-05-06 03:18:00 | How long did you wait at the splash screen? It can take a couple of minutes before it progresses past that, especially on a slower PC. If it is taking too long, then I'd suspect a bad burn (and you may need to burn as disc-at-once rather than track-at-once too). |
