| 602422 | 2007-10-17 10:03:00 | Just changed over to Xnet (from Xtra) today - they are pretty fast: rang this morning and it has cut over at about 10 pm just now. But I am quite disappointed with the new speed: only managed to get about 1 MB whereas I could get about 2-3 MB with Xtra. It's like xtra's GO LARGE speed now. :( Will ring them tomorrow. Also notice that their helpdesk is only from 8 -8 pm |

| 602425 | 2007-10-17 19:04:00 | Get them to turn interleaving off. Dunno if it will help your speed, but it will help if you game a lot. Did you choose unlimited usage (pay for what you use) or set a cap? If you choose unlimited, imo you should just choose a high cap (remember you don't pay for all of it unless you use it all) It might help with speeds. I'm getting a good 7mbps and 400kbps with them. |

You mean, if even I choose a high cap option , I only pay for what I used? The speed is better this morning but still not as good as before! |

Don't see how it would affect speed. Not every ISPs service is the same.. there's always the chance that speeds will go down. Login to your modem and check the line rate, usually in Status or something similar. |

| 602430 | 2007-10-18 00:10:00 | You shouldn't be getting slower speeds with xnet. I would check the router ADSL status, and then give their heelpdesk a call.. /me gets ~6.8Mbps down and ~800Kbps up on xnet during the day. |

| 602431 | 2007-10-18 00:23:00 | It's all back to normal now, or even marginally faster than Xtra. Have checked with Xnet re data cap and was confirmed that they only charge us according to our actual usage even we are on the managed data option. I'm so far so happy with Xnet. :) |
