601871 2007-10-15 20:30:00 No, but I'm not sure what it should be replaced with. FPP wasn't exactly brilliant either, but in my humble opinion MMP is pretty useless. Erayd (23)
601872 2007-10-15 21:39:00 Preferential voting is a fairer method, with a single transferable vote, and preferences not tradeable by parties, that empowers the voter. But what NZ has got is the worst of all systems. Bloody shame Brash didn't raise the issue properly. KenESmith (6287)
601873 2007-10-15 21:54:00 MMP,is it the way to go?Personally I prefer good old MP3 or MP4. Greg (193)
601874 2007-10-16 04:26:00 Maybe its time for another referendum.
IMHO MMP needs to go

Everything Brash said was wrong as far as his critics went,so he had to go.

He wasn't prepared be a yes man to the lefties in the national party.

All parties have those that enjoy having nose in trough.

601876 2007-10-16 19:32:00 Any system that encourages the proliferation of snouts is bad.
All MP's should be issued spiked clubs, last one standing wins that debate and is then hung for assault.

(If parliament was a kindergrten, it would risk losing it's funding for performing well below expectations.)
