We had this "game console" that had two swivel type controllers and four built-in games. Would have been around 1980-81. The games were - Tennis, Hockey, Squash and Practice. May still have this machine somewhere, will need to have a look sometime. |

Um....actually, No. You couldn't make your own tracks, Maybe your thinking of the came Stunts? On Stunt Car Racer you were on elevated tracks that resembled Rollor Caosters, when you went off the side you were lifted back on by a crane. Edit- The game your thinking about must have been stunts, that one definitly has a track editor www.pcgaming.ws and a remake http://ultimatestunts.nl/ another edit That remake is utter utter crap. |

| 602772 | 2007-10-18 21:45:00 | paperboy, park range, Indiana Jones - all on Commodore64 were favorites . Indiana Jones even came out on two (!) tapes, it was like the biggest game I'd ever played . Before then I played pong when it was out, then space invaders and digger on my first PC . It was nine kinds of awesome . |

The Yukon Trail was all the rage at primary school along with Prince of Persia. | Pete O'Neil (6584) | ||

| 602775 | 2007-10-18 22:32:00 | Yes I have been playing games on computers since 1985, Commodore 64/Amiga/PC, some of the games mentioned bring back fond memories. Stunt Car Racer loved that especially the draw bridge track where you had to get the timing right to get over it and Buggy Boy as well. I do note that the prices of games have not changed over the years, still costing between $80 to $100 or so. :) |

| 602776 | 2007-10-18 22:39:00 | I remember going into Smith City with my dad to buy an Atari 2600, I must have been about 6 or 7, The games were $100 each. Shocking. I'm surprised we didn't just get a thick ear and a pie to share from the pie cart..... |

| 602777 | 2007-10-18 23:29:00 | I notice a few people mentioning Buggy Boy. I enjoyed that too (on Amiga 500). Unfortunately some years ago the disk for it went missing and I have never found it since  PS: Our Amiga STILL works. |
