MCE gurus, talk to me! :D Looking at setting up a PC with XP MCE, or a good equlivant software (I hear MythTV is good...?) and a nice hauppage (or whatever is recommended) DVB-S tuner. Will be outputting only to a TV, and I'd like to be able to run everything with a remote. Anyone have this type of thing setup? How does it run? What hardware is recommended? Thanks in advance. :) |

| 772081 | 2009-05-08 01:16:00 | You can get DVB-S working in XP MCE but does require a few registry hacks. I even had to do this in Vista Media Center but Windows 7 supports it out of the box. I would also recommend MediaPortalor GVB-PVR. |
