602530 2007-10-17 20:02:00 Clearing out an old disused drawer the other day I came across a collection of Brown & Crisp Microwave Cooking bags. (That'll teach me to clear out drawers).
At one time I was a sucker for TV adverts and bought all sorts of useless rubbish. I must have filed these away ages ago, but I tried one of the bags yesterday to cook fish fingers and NO they did not come out nice and crisp and brown.
I seem to remember that I stopped using them when I found out they did not perform as promised. But I am curious.
Are these still on sale anywhere and did anybody else try them and get them to work?
And is this the most pointless thread posted on the Forum this year?

602531 2007-10-17 20:30:00 I remember them, but no- I prefer the Glad snap lock bags. Nuke them in the microwave and they melt so that you can't tell which bit is the skin on the sausages. :annoyed:

I think if you nuked the snap lock bags long enough they would go crispy

PS, this is the 2nd most pointless thread this year.

602536 2007-10-18 05:42:00 The "fridge" thread is up there with the 10 best threads ever.

Lets not let the fact its crap detract from the legend.

It transcends time.
