772692 2009-05-10 01:55:00 I have an old laptop IBM A20m 700Mz 512Ram. I mainly only use it for playing around with Linux, looking at new Distros etc. I recently downloaded Granular Linux 1.0 iso live. Burnt a CD on my windowsXP Comp and tried to run it on the laptop. It got to a point in the loading dialog, (Probing SCSI Devices:Segmentation Fault) then hung. I tried the other boot options and it loaded in Safe Mode. I liked the look of the Distro and decided to install on the hard drive. The installer stopped with the message (No SCSI Devices found) Not suprising as noscsi is one of the Safe Mode options. The CD is OK I tried it on 3 other computers and it loads fine. The IBM Laptop has had at least 10 other Distros installed on it before this with no problems untill now. I have done some Googling with no success. Has anyone got any ideas to get around the problem. Thanks

Ian
