I still don't understand why you don't jump to the correct folder when double clicking on Docs & Settings instead of the Access Denied error or if you right-click you don't get the path the junction/shortcut points to. |

| 772610 | 2009-05-10 22:40:00 | You wont get into Documents and settings in Vista/W7 - its the way the OS has been designed, hence hidden files. Since W7 is built from Vista - From memory the way it was described is the Documents and setting folder is there - but its been purposely set so you cant access it. And as Blam pointed out, the its actually only a Junction to C:\Users. Once again its simply because of XP The Junction Points are in Vista for backward compatibility of pre-Vista applications. |
