604513 2007-10-23 07:26:00 Give me a break. A flippin' 20 year old girl releasing an autobiography.

Is there a chapter entitled "My Fifth Form Year"?

Maybe a whole section on her bicycles?

Let me know when your worth a couple of million and have performed for the Queen or someone of equivalent standing Deane.

Performing for the Queen has no standing with me, winmacguy. Nor does the couple of million.

As a classical music man, I think she sold her soul (and any talent she could have developed) to the industry - for a brief fling of popularity.

This is just more of it. She didn't even write it herself. She employed a ghost writer so it's really a biography.

Probably for reasons of practicality, I am sure that she wouldn't be the only person to have done that.

604520 2007-10-23 08:58:00 I think, like her music, the book will appeal to just a few . . .

As you so rightly point out Deane, what the hell could you write about when you're just 20!! What's she going to do for an encore, release a sequel every ten years???? I think I'll wait for the Readers Digest Condensed version, published when she's 70 . With luck my eyesight and my hearing will be gone by then . . .

The queen is not a shining example, she hasn't had a promotion in 50 years,so is hardly a good career role model. If anybody waves a couple of million, I might stand.
I think you will find that Hayley is not filed under "classical music man" nor is she particularly selling any soul music. And the fling is a gaelic speciality.
What's wrong with ghost stories anyway?
If this makes any sense, get your medication changed, I've given up.

I change my medication every day. Keeps one on one's toes.
