| 603753 | 2007-10-21 06:32:00 | You sure April 1 didn't come early ?? I'm pretty sure it didn't. Considering the article is from Australian PC Mag I would say it is pretty authentic. Considering that based on the current size and requirements of Vista and its rate of uptake I don't think MS would want to make the OS any bigger just to run Word in Windows 7, that and the fact that a lot of people can't see the value in "upgrading" to Vista as it stands now. So something has to change. |

| 603755 | 2007-10-21 18:09:00 | Its big, so? You left out fat, bloated, unattractive and not selling which means MS is getting stuck between a rock and a hard place while the competition picks up the pace. |

| 603756 | 2007-10-21 18:27:00 | I really like Vista. Dont listen to what your wife tells you mac lovers - Size does matter. :D Anyways I have to wonder whether software is actually the reason why hardware is continually improving and getting faster. To me I reckon that the real competition is between software vs hardware. It always amazes the speed in which the next generation is being produced, dual core is standard now but eyes now looking at quad core. I dont really understand or care too much about any of it as the budget for me for any computer purchase is $1500. By the time I am due for an upgrade I know I could probably get a Hex-Core by then. Good news for the consumer. |
