603187 2007-10-20 08:34:00 My husband wants to use xcel on his new computer. New disks are too darned expensive. Anyone have a cd of an outdated version they don't want and can legally pass on?

thanks

Both are relatively large downloads.

It should do all the basic stuff that Excel can do (assuming you want to do just basic stuff)

603189 2007-10-20 20:46:00 You can buy Mr Gates genuine xcel included in office 97 on Trademe for bugger all. I paid $10. It is version 4 excel which is about 10 years old. Age dosent matter because newer versions are backwards compatible. and forwards compatible by saving file as Excel ver..
Earlier versions would be classified as abandonware so a rabbit copy wouldnt cause the the end of civilization of the western world.

Its FREE and compatible with ALL MS files.
