Bad enough I had to respond to his small talk as we waited for the cashier to prove herself incompetent of the most basic task but he stitched me up as well. As far as geese go, He's a goose. | 604303 | 2007-11-09 19:06:00 | Righto, Picked up an Xbox 360 and a couple of games today, To go along with swanky new LCD television. First impressions. Its loud, Too loud, Louder then my PC, and my PC has no sides on the case and is at head level, and about 2 feet away from me. Graphics are...meh, The PC has had high resolution detailed graphics for years, and at a better frame rate, The frame rate on this kills the sense of speed.Though I'm sure some games are going to be stunning ( I hope so anyway) Only game I loaded up was Forza 2, Too basic for my liking, and the cars have no in car view, Based on my 2 car 2 track blast I'd call it poor, Which leaves plenty of room for improvement. Xbox has since been ignored, Probably keep it as an ornament for a month or so and then ditch it on trademe. Did you ever get your old tv checked? |

| 604305 | 2007-11-09 19:43:00 | Its probally worth pointing out the package at HN, they have the most recent bundle, Console,remote, 2 games but in the flyer they have a third game in the bundle, Gears of War. But, You need to point out that package or you just get what comes in the box. The salesman I talked to had no idea about Gears of War being bundled, and it was only when I said I wanted the advertised package that they looked it up, and then put the game on back order for me as they had run out. Now, I would hate to be a cynic but THEY FREAKIN KNEW DAMN WELL how many of each item they had when they went to print, yet they run out of the full package 10 days before promotion is over and don't advertise the full package in the shop. |
